“FIX A KITTY” CAT STERILIZATION PROGRAM

NEED HELP GETTING YOUR CAT SPAYED OR NEUTERED?

Simple surgery could have saved many of those lives, but many other reasons to spay or neuter pets exist:

Animal Guardians of Brevard and the SPCA of North Brevard are co-sponsoring the “Fix a Kitty” Cat Sterilization Program at the SPCA in Titusville.  Cats belonging to low-income people will be sterilized for just $20.00 at the SPCA.  Rabies (1 year) and distemper (FVRCP) shots are included at no additional charge for cats who need them.

Like the rest of the nation, Brevard County suffers from the consequences of a severe animal overpopulation problem. Most of the cats admitted to Brevard County’s shelters are euthanized - killed - because there are not enough homes for them.  The only solution is sterilization to prevent unwanted kittens from being born and growing up into unwanted cats.

This program is open to all financially eligible, low income cat guardians. Appointments are required.  For more information please contact the SPCA of North Brevard at 321-269-0536, or visit Animal Guardians of Brevard at www.animalguardiansofbrevard.org.
